You’ll get a high resolution digital PNG and JPEG file to treasure forever, so you can print your illustration as many times as you like (for personal use only), and on other things, should you wish, now or in the future. You can also add a professional Giclée art print which is made on lovely archival 310gsm Hahnemühle fine art paper by the same printers that The National Gallery use. These prints come in multiple sizes, and are perfect for hanging in your home, or gifting to a loved one who shares your wanderlust!

STEP BY STEP PROCESS:
1. Comission your art by ordering either Digital Files Only or including a physical print (digital files are included with all print orders). Please make sure you have read all of the terms and conditions at the bottom of this page, before you place your order.
2. Once you have ordered, please submit your chosen photo & order number to this form: www.this-wild-soul.com/custom-art-order-form
Please note: The photo must be yours, or you have full permission to use it. If you have a destination in mind, but no photo of it yourself, please contact me before placing your order as I may be able to source a stock photo we can use 💞
3. I begin the illustration process ✨ you can expect this to take roughly 2 - 6 weeks depending on my current workload ✨ & if you have not selected to check the files before delivery, you can now skip to Step 5.
4. If you have selected the option to check the files before their final delivery/print, you will recieve an email with a low resolution version of your illustration. If any small alterations need to be made, they are sorted at this stage. (Please bare in mind, large alterations such as a change in colour scheme, or where a large section would need to be re-illustrated, will incur an extra charge. - However, I haven't had anyone ask for this to date, usually people are super happy with the initial completed piece) Once you've checked you are indeed happy, your high resolution files will be delivered, and if you ordered one, it will now go to print!
5. Your high resolution digital files are delivered to you for download, and if you've ordered a print, it will be printed by my professional printers and shipped out within 1 - 2 weeks.

Copyright of Submitted Images
By commissioning a travel illustration, you confirm that you own all copyright to the image you have provided. You warrant that you have the legal right to submit the image for use in creating custom artwork. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alice Leake (trading as This Wild Soul) against any claims arising from copyright infringement related to your submitted image. -
Artist Copyright and Usage
All copyright to the completed illustration is retained by the artist, Alice Leake, also known as This Wild Soul. The artwork is for personal use only. You may not sell, distribute commercially, or alter and/or edit the artwork for resale or distribution in any capacity. For any commercial use, including but not limited to resale, licensing, or reproduction, you must obtain explicit written permission and pay an appropriate licensing fee. -
Delivery and File Format
The completed illustration will be delivered as a digital JPEG & PNG file in high-resolution. No physical products will be sent unless you have ordered a print option. Please ensure you provide a valid email address for delivery of your files. -
Payment and Refunds
Full payment is required at the time of commission. Due to the custom-made nature of this service, no cancellations, refunds, or exchanges can be offered once work has commenced. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept this condition. -
Revision Policy
The commission includes one round of minor revisions after the initial low-res delivery of the artwork. Requests for substantial changes or additional revisions may incur an extra fee. These changes will be subject to the artist’s discretion and availability. -
Turnaround Time
Estimated delivery time will be 3 - 8 weeks, depending on the complexity of the illustration and current workload. Every effort will be made to meet the agreed timeline, however, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. In such instances, you will be notified promptly and your understanding is greatly appreciated. -
File Storage
The artist will retain copyright and copies of the completed artwork for portfolio, promotional, or archival purposes. -
Prohibited Uses
The completed illustration may not be used in any of the following ways:- As part of logos, branding, or promotional materials without a commercial license.
- Incorporated into NFTs (non-fungible tokens) or similar digital assets.
- In any manner that violates copyright law or misrepresents the artist's work.
